Eatables – Black Pumpkin Spice Latte Recipe

Halloween is on the way and fall is already here. I love Halloween and the wonderfully delicious pumpkin spice latte, but these things don’t really mix… until now. The perfect fall treat is now the perfect Halloween treat!

I introduce to you the black pumpkin spice latte! This is created with healthy ingredients (minus the food coloring of course) so you can feel better about drinking this PSL instead of the chemicals you drink at Starbucks. It tastes a million times better too!

 

 

INGREDIENTS:
¼ cup strongly brewed coffee
1 cup heated almond milk
1 tbs canned pumpkin puree
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 pinch cinnamon
1 pinch ground allspice
1 pinch ground ginger
5 drops of liquid stevia
1 can coconut milk
Black gel food coloring
Black food coloring spray
Black edible sparkle dust

 

DIRECTIONS:
To make the coconut whip cream, beat the solid part of the coconut milk using an electric mixer until it is light and creamy. Then beat in a few dots of black gel food coloring until the whipped cream is blackish grey. Set aside.

Stir the brewed coffee, pumpkin puree, vanilla, cinnamon, ground allspice, ground ginger, and stevia together in a mug.

Pour heated almond milk on top and put a small amount of black food coloring on top and stir. Place a dollop of coconut whip cream on top of the latte.

Take the black food coloring spray and spray the cream until it is completely covered. Sprinkle black sparkle dust over the top. Serve and enjoy!
