Wheaton’s Law is a simple one – Don’t be a Dick. This week Curtis & Boet break down the different things in their lives that you could consider to be, well, dickish. From dicks who repost intellectual property, to dicks who can cause people to break down into depression.
They also talk about how words lose their meaning if you say them enough times over and over again. Like ‘Dick’ in this post. Dick. Dick. Dick Dick Dick Dick Dick dik-dik.

Dammit Boet, stop being me. I have a Raspberry Pi as a media server hooked up to my tv. And it’s fantastic. Raspbmc is the most trivial thing to set up in the history of media center software (I’ve tried A LOT — surprise, I had a mini-atx PC, too):

The release candidate was a bit glitchy during music playback for me, but the latest nightly works great (can be installed from the RC). I use my Nexus 7 with Yatse as a remote.
And yes, this tiny $35 computer plays a 6 gig 1080p video file without any trouble. Incredible value.
I really dig the RBMC, and in full honesty hadn’t thought of a controller on my phone. I was looking at a Bluetooth keyboard like the iPazzPort or VisonTek.
